The published cost of a virtual phone number on this site is the published cost of its inbound business numbers. There is no separate "virtual" product with its own price list: the label maps onto 1300 numbers, 1800 numbers and Phonewords. The 1300 and 1800 plans are published at $10, $15, $39, $79 and $99 per month, Phonewords start from $40 per month, and all pricing is ex GST. The figures below are the published ones only — nothing on this page is calculated or estimated.

Published plan prices

The 1300 and 1800 products share the same five plan tiers:

  • $10 per month — Prepaid plans: include $5 call credit; prepaid only.
  • $15 per month — Light plans: include $5 call credit.
  • $39 per month — three variants: Cap39 includes 250 Fixed Line minutes plus 100 Mobile minutes, Fixed Cap39 includes 500 Fixed Line minutes, and Mobile Cap39 includes 250 Mobile minutes.
  • $79 per month — Cap79: includes 750 Fixed Line minutes plus 300 Mobile minutes.
  • $99 per month — High Volume: includes $99 call credit.

Call rates are per minute, billed per second. With Cap plans, the monthly fee is the only charge until the included value is used, then per-minute rates apply. Each plan's exact per-minute rates for fixed-line and mobile calls are listed in the tables on the pricing page — those tables are the source to use, rather than any estimate here.

Phoneword costs

Phonewords are premium numbers starting from $40 per month, with the desirability and availability of the word affecting the price. They carry a $50 setup, subject to number selection and availability, and run on a 12-month rolling contract. The exact number and price are confirmed with you before anything is connected. You can search available Phonewords to see what is listed, noting that availability is not guaranteed for a specific word.

Add-on costs

  • Call Tracking Numbers — $5 per month: to see which ads and campaigns drive your calls.
  • IVR Keypress Menu — $35 per month: an auto-attendant menu that routes callers by keypress.
  • Postcode Prompter — $250 per month: routes callers by the postcode they dial in from.

These add-ons can be selected during signup and changed later.

Contracts and billing terms

Standard 1300 and 1800 plans are month-to-month with no lock-in. Premium numbers — Phonewords, from $40 per month — carry the 12-month rolling contract and $50 setup described above. All pricing is ex GST, and plans are subject to the site's terms and conditions.

What this price list does not cover

These prices are for inbound 1300, 1800 and Phoneword numbers. Virtual mobile numbers, SMS-capable numbers and app-managed services are not part of the published range, so no price for them can be quoted from this site. If a quote you are comparing includes features that do not appear on the published pricing page, check with the team on 1300 327 934 before assuming the services are equivalent.
