Phone Number Availability Checker
Check what 1300 and 1800 Phonewords are listed as available with the 1300 Easy Dial search — see numbers and prices before you apply, then compare plans.
1300 Easy Dial provides a number search at Find a Number that checks what 1300 and 1800 Phonewords are listed as available. You type the word or digits you have in mind, optionally filter by 1300 or 1800 prefix, and the search returns matching numbers with the price shown for each result or "price on request". It is the quickest way to see the current state of a word you want before you apply.
Two boundaries matter. The search shows what is listed at the time you search — it does not promise that a particular word will still be available, or available at a particular price, when you apply. And it is an availability search, not a reverse-lookup: it cannot tell you who owns a number that is already taken.
How the availability search works
The search on Find a Number is built around Phonewords — numbers where the digits spell a word on the telephone keypad using a 13, 1300 or 1800 prefix. You can search a word (for example a business name or service) or digits, and narrow results to the 1300 or 1800 prefix. Each result shows the number, its displayed price, and a way to take the next step toward securing it.
Because Phoneword pricing depends on availability and desirability, two similar words can carry very different prices. Published Phoneword pricing starts from $40 per month, with the search results showing the figure attached to each listed number.
What the checker cannot answer
- Who owns a number: the search is not a number-owner lookup, so it cannot identify the business behind a number that is already taken.
- Guaranteed availability: a result listed as available is not a reservation; availability for a specific word is not guaranteed until you have secured it.
- A fixed price for any word you like: prices move with how desirable a word is, and some results are listed as price on request.
- Plain number availability beyond the search: what is demonstrated here is the Phoneword search; treat the results page as the current source of truth.
What a number costs once you find one
The inbound-number plan sits alongside the number itself. Published 1300 and 1800 plans are $10, $15, $39, $79 and $99 per month, each paired with its own call-rate table on the pricing page. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. For a Phoneword, add the number's own price to the plan decision so you can see the full monthly picture before committing.
After you find a number
The signup flow asks for the number the service will connect to — the answering point your calls will reach — so have that existing number ready. If a word you want is not listed, a similar or shorter word is worth trying, or call 1300 327 934 / email info@1300easydial.com.au and the team will help you look.
Availability checker questions
Is there a phone number availability checker on this site?
Yes. Find a Number searches available 1300/1800 Phonewords by word or digits, with an optional 1300 or 1800 prefix filter, and shows each result's displayed price or "price on request".
Does finding a number in the search reserve it for me?
No. A listed result is not a reservation, and availability is not guaranteed for a specific word at a specific price until you have secured it through the signup flow.
Can I check who owns a 1300 or 1800 number?
No. The search checks availability of Phonewords; it is not a reverse-lookup or number-owner directory.
