Find a Number Cost
The search costs nothing; the number you find has two published cost lines — a monthly plan row and, for words, a from-$40 word price. What each means.
Finding a number costs nothing — the Find a Number search is free to use and reserves nothing. What costs money is the number you find, and the published record splits that into two cost lines: the monthly plan row the number rides on, and — only when the number spells a word — the word price. This page states each line and, just as importantly, what it does not cover.
Cost line 1 — the plan row
Every 1300 or 1800 number rides on a published plan row: $10, $15, $39, $79 and $99 per month, each with its own fixed-line and mobile per-minute rates and, on Cap plans, included allowances. The current tables sit on the pricing page; no total bill is calculated anywhere on this page.
Cost line 2 — the word price
Only for Phonewords: word pricing starts from $40 per month, with availability and desirability affecting the specific word. No per-word price list is published — the team confirms the exact word and price before connection, and this page does not quote ranges.
What the search itself tells you about cost
Nothing definitive — and that is by design. The listing is a snapshot of availability, not a price list. A word that appears in the search is a candidate to confirm, not a quoted product; two searches days apart can differ.
