Buy an Australian Phone Number

Buying an Australian phone number for your business — 1300, 1800 and Phoneword options priced in AUD with GST, plans from $10 a month, from a QLD-based team.

Searching for available phone numbers

An Australian business phone number bought through 1300 Easy Dial is one of three things: a 1300 number, an 1800 number or a Phoneword on a 13, 1300 or 1800 prefix. Published plans start at $10 per month, prices are listed in Australian dollars including GST, and the team behind the service is based in Queensland and reachable on 1300 327 934 during standard business hours (AEST). The purchase runs through the online signup flow, which asks for the existing number your calls will connect to.

What makes the number Australian

The prefixes. A 1300 or 1800 number is a ten-digit Australian inbound number — the prefix plus six further digits — and a 13 number is the shorter six-digit variant. These prefixes are what Australian callers recognise as business numbers, versus the 04 mobile prefix or geographic landline numbers, neither of which is sold on this site. Caller-cost behaviour follows the family: 1300 is presented as shared cost, and 1800 is presented as free for callers in the stated Australian 1800-number context with the business paying the call charges.

What you pay for when you buy

Two parts: the number and the plan. For 1300 and 1800, published plans are $10, $15, $39, $79 and $99 per month, each with its own call-rate table (separate rates for landline-originated and mobile-originated calls) on the pricing page. For a Phoneword, the number's own price starts from $40 per month and moves with availability and desirability, on top of the plan. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

How the purchase runs

Search first if the number should spell a word: Find a Number lists available 1300/1800 Phonewords by word or digits, with each result's displayed price or "price on request". The search does not reserve a word or guarantee its availability or price when you apply. Then complete the signup flow, nominating the answering point your calls will connect to. Before committing, review the current terms and conditions — contract and billing obligations live there rather than in marketing copy.
